Job Description

First Choice Haircutters is currently seeking 4 experienced hairstylists.

Location: 28 Davison Dr. Bridgewater NS BV4 3T2

Wage & Compensation: $15.20 per hour & gratuitites
Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week
Language: English
Education: Trades diploma preferred
Experience: 1 -2 years of experience

Tasks & Responsibilities
Book appointments
Shampoo customers’ hair
Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
Apply hair extensions
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair

License: Hairstylist Licence required or eligible to apply for the license under Nova Scotia Cosmetology association

Hair styling techniques
Blow drying
Hair braiding
Iron waving/curling
Permanents
Extensions
Twisting
Hair colouring techniques

Dyes/tints
