Job Title: Church Facilities Manager
Reports To: Church Administrator

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly-motivated, experienced, and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our church facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that the church buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and ready for use by the congregation and community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and improvement of church facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all church properties.
• Implement and manage security protocols, access control systems, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and volunteers.
• Manage and oversee facility-related projects, including new construction, renovations, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and manage the facility budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Schedule and coordinate facility use for church events, meetings, and external rentals.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and facility-related expenses.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with church staff and ministry leaders to support the needs of various programs and events.
• Identify and apply for funding opportunities applicable to support facility upgrades and community projects.

Required languages: English

Education level: A diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field is preferred.

Required skills: Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field. • Strong understanding of and experience with building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations. • Experience with RFP management and grant writing are an asset. • Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent problem-solving, decision making, and organizational skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management. • Thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all church members and visitors. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial and administrative matters. • Experience working for a non-profit organization is an asset. • Alignment with the mission and values of CCCG.
