Maple Leaf Seniors is seeking a full-time permanent building maintenance worker for our seniors home located in North York, Ontario. The ideal worker will work in a senior’s home environment and must be willing to be on call. 

Job Requirement
• 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance duties
• On-call duties requiring assigned evenings and overnight
• High school completion
• Strong oral and written English language

Duties and Responsibilities
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and ventilating systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Respond to requests from residents for minor in-suite repairs
• Provide general assistance to skilled trades persons such as mechanics, electricians, plumbers and renovators
• Coordinate the preparation of vacant units for new occupants
• Ensure that security and safety measures in place are strictly adhered to in the establishment
• Manage equipment and maintenance product inventory
