Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at the Turtleback Tap and Grill. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring high-quality food service. Job description:
• Managing day to day administration duties of the kitchen.
• Adhering to food safety laws and overseeing operations of other employees
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area.
• Ensuring the preparation stations and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
• Preparing simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
• Reporting to the head chef and following instructions.
• Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
• Cleaning preparation areas and taking care of leftovers.
• Stocking inventory and supplies.
• Cooking menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
• Complying with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
• Ensuring quality and freshness of ingredients and products.
