Our well-established Monsoon Curry Restaurant & Bar Ltd., located in Vancouver, British Columbia is looking for a Head Chef (NOC-62200) to help us in overseeing cooking activities

Duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to all chefs in the restaurant
• Prepare and cook specialty foods, such as Indian snacks, curries and sauces
• Consult with clients regarding special events in the community
• Create new recipes and dishes
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Plan menus according to the management request and quality standards
• Order food and kitchen inventory according to the needs
• Instruct other cooks in preparation and presentation of food
• Recruit, hire and train all kitchen staff

Requirements:

• Secondary education is required
• 2-3 years of work experience is required

Language: English

Remuneration: $29 per hour
