Green City Asset Management Corp is now hiring 1 General Construction Labourer (NOC: 75110).

Job Description:
– Title: General Construction Labourer
– NOC: 75110
– Position(s) Available: 1 
– Work Location(s): 2520 53 Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 9W8   
– Weekly Hours: 30-40  
– Compensation: $24 per hour

Benefit:
10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:
– No degree, certificate or diploma is required
– Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.
– Basic English communication skill is required.

Job Responsibilities:
– Load and unload construction materials, transport materials to work areas.
– Assemble and dismantle various construction structures like concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
– Assist tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and roofers with construction tasks.
– Level ground to precise specifications using tools like rakes and shovels.
– Participate in building demolition activities and manage salvaged materials.
– Clear debris from construction sites using equipment like wheelbarrows and shovels.
– Operate machinery and equipment on construction sites.
– Handle clean-up tasks, including chemical spills and hazardous material removal.
– Direct traffic around construction sites.
– Complete additional duties as instructed on construction sites.
– Work according blueprints and related requirements.
