Job Position:
Childcare Provider – Private home

Job Qualifications:
• Childcare related experience is an advantage.
• Good English Communication is required.
• Completion of secondary school maybe required.
• The ability to perform housework maybe required.
• Any training program in childcare is an advantage.
• Non-smoker, scent free.
• Valid Driver’s License maybe required.
• Can work under work pressure, attention to details and other good qualities are advantage.
• Willingness to work on flexible hours, day/nights, overtime/overnights is an advantage.

Job Description:
• Care and supervise for children.
• Look after children’s activities, such as playdates, rest periods and meals as per parent’s instructions.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Assume complete responsibility for household when parents are not around.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment at home.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Guide children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information of the children maybe required.
• Assist in children’s school activities and homework required.
• Work in employer’s home.
• Willingness to travel maybe requested.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Language: English
Salary: $18 per hour.
Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability.
• 40 hours per week
• Overnights/Overtime may be requested.
• Paid travel with family may be required.

Work Location: Private home – Fort St. John, B.C. Canada.
