Overview: GNK is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to support our operations across multiple Galleria Supermarket locations (3-6 sites) and facilities for Korea Food Trading Ltd. (KFT) as needed. This role is pivotal in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our retail and wholesale environments.

Position: Maintenance Worker, Building (NOC 73201)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $46,000 per year (approximately $22.11 per hour)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, coordinating major repairs with professional tradespersons.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and tenants, handling minor repairs efficiently.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure all building systems operate smoothly and safely.
• Assist skilled tradespersons (mechanics, electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
• Coordinate unit preparation for new residents or tenants.
• Ensure security and safety measures are implemented and maintained throughout our facilities.

Asset Language: Korean

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Experience in interior renovations, including tiling, painting, and drywall work.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor.
