Home and Away Restaurant and Bar requires a full-time Restaurant Manager in Calgary, Alberta.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 40 hours / week, Shift: 10 am – 6 pm.
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime.

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: High School (or equivalent experience). ProServe certification required.

Experience: Restaurant and Bar Management experience an asset.

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available. Willing to travel.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.

Work Site Environment: Air conditioned, indoor restaurant.

Required skills: Plan, develop and implement training sessions. Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Recruit, train and supervise staff. Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures and regulations. Ability to negotiate arrangements with food suppliers, clients, and any other supplies as required. Ability to resolve customer complaints.
