I am looking for a full-time Home Child Care Provider (in a private household) in Richmond, BC.

Job Title: Home Child Care Provider
•Position(s) Available: 1
•NOC Code: 44100
•Wage: $18 per hour
•Work Hours: 30-40 hours/week
•Work Location: Richmond, BC V7E 1G2

Requirements
•Completion of secondary school is an asset.
•Completion of a training program in child care or a related field is an asset.
•Some paid work experience as a caregiver or in a related field is an asset.
•First aid certification and completion of a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training is an asset.

Responsibilities:
•Teach children about personal cleanliness.
•Address children’s emotional well-being and promote social development.
•Supervise and look after minors in either the employer’s or one’s own residence.
•Bathe, dress, and feed infants and young individuals.
•Organize, prepare, and serve meals for children and possibly perform household chores.
•Supervise children’s daily activities, including meals and nap times as instructed by the employer.
•Maintain a safe and nurturing home environment.
•Enforce disciplinary measures based on the parents’ preferences.
•Offer age-appropriate educational activities through structured play, arts and crafts, reading, and outings.
•Transport minors to school and appointments.
•Possibly required to keep records of daily activities and health information for each child.
