Job Description

Location: 1 Oak St Unit 4, Toronto, ON M5A 0A1

Salary: 18.00 hourly / 30 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook comprehensive meals or individual dishes
2. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
3. Prepare special meals for patients as directed by a dietitian or chef
4. Plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs, and manage supply orders
5. Inspect kitchens and food service areas
6. Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
7. Supervise kitchen staff and assistants
8. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
9. Sanitize kitchen and work areas
10. Organize and manage buffets and banquets
11. Oversee kitchen operations
