Osmanthus Restaurant is a traditional Chinese restaurant and it is a haven for customers praising its fine dining, where we meticulously craft Jiannan dishes that pay homage to the rich history and flavours of this enchanting region.

Osmanthus Restaurant is a very busy restaurant. We are looking for a person who truly loves to prepare great food. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Head Cook and be responsible to assist the Head Cook in food preparation which includes but not limited to chopping, cutting, marinating, and so on.

Status: Permanent Full-time

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Hourly rate: CAD $19.00

Vacation Pay: 4%

Shift: 40 Hours/Week

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Supervise staff to clean kitchen and work areas
• Oversee kitchen operations
