Job Description

Looking for a caregiver for a family with two children aged 1 and 3 to provide childcare services in the employer’s home. The caregiver will provide childcare, assist with children’s daily routine, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, prepare formulas, change diapers, supervise children, oversee their meal and rest periods, as instructed by parents, tend to their emotional well-being, support their social development, involve them in activities such as games, crafts, reading, outings, create a safe and secure environment, prepare and serve meals, do cleaning.
The caregiver needs to have at least a high school diploma, be able to speak clearly in French or English and have at least one year experience as a caregiver or related caregiver training.
Position is full time 40 hours per week, 5 days a week, two days off: generally Saturday and Sunday but this may vary according to the employer’s schedule, therefore flexibility is important for the employer. Salary is 15.75$ gross per hour for 40 hours a week (adjustable according to the provincial prevailing wage increase). The workplace is located in Mount Royal QC H3R 1C4.
