Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:
• Researching and gathering information on Indigenous traditions, cultural stories and folk lore.
• Developing show content for a 5-minute per week program segment.
• Providing written script in English, plus any background information for the 5-minute segment, so the script can be translated and voiced by the program hosts.
• Incorporating entertainment elements such as jokes, anecdotes, and trivia
• Collaborating with the program hosts and producers to ensure topics align with the program theme.

Skills and qualifications:
• Excellent knowledge of Indigenous culture and traditions.
• Ability to research and gather information on Indigenous traditions, cultural stories and folk lore.
• Skill in writing and preparing scripts.
• Efficiently manage the timing of segments to keep the show running smoothly.
• Self-motivated, a team player with a positive attitude and passion to succeed.
• Must be highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
