Job Description:
– Position: Cook
– Employer: JRG SP BREWING & PUB LTD. o/a STANLEY PARK BREW PUB
– Work Location: 8901 Stanley Park Dr, Vancouver, BC V6G 3E2
– Business Address: Same as above
– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4 % vacation fee, extended health benefit (available after six months of employment)
– Language: English

Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook meals and individual dishes according to recipes, product quality, portion, and presentation standards.
– Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstation, kitchen, and storerooms.
– Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and check freshness of food and ingredients.
– Oversee kitchen operations and ensure sanitation practices and safety standards are followed.
– Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of High school is required.
– Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial cooking experience is required,
Or Completion of a 3-year apprenticeship program for cooks,
Or Completion of college or other program in cooking.
