The Province of Nova Scotia is regarded as the seafood capital of Canada, with its proximity to fishing and lobster grounds and direct logistic solutions to the continent. Our main business is supplying premium seafood from Nova Scotia factories and vessels to the world market.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of PIIC engaged in wholesale sales of seafood to the world market.
• Keep effective communication and follow up with distributors and suppliers on daily operations.
• Manage staff and assign duties.
• Study market research and trends to determine PIIC’s consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors’ operations on sales.
• Determine products and services to be sold and implement price and credit policies.
• Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure seafood for resale.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies of North American seafood distribution and ecommerce.
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor company revenues.
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues when arise.

Job Type:
• Full Time
• Permanent

Compensation and Work Schedule:
• $34/hour
• 30-35 hours/week
• Overtime pay will be applied if working over 48 hours/week
