Responsibilities:

1. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
2. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
3. Discuss work with supervisor
4. Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
5. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
6. Inspect motor in operation
7. Review work orders
8. Road test motor vehicles
9. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
10. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
11. Repair or replace mechanical units or components
12. Test and adjust units to specifications
13. Complete reports to record problems and work performed
14. Provide customer service
