Job Description

• Applying paint, enamel, varnish, or other material using brushes, rollers, sponge or fingers to create special effects.
• Repairing the nail holes, cracks, or holes in the walls.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by removing the old paint orscraping it using sandpaper.
• Mixing different shades of paint to make the right desired texture.
• Giving estimates.
• Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers beforepainting the wall.
• Cleaning up the supplies and even floor once the project is complete.
• Wallpaper or fabric measured, cut, and applied to the walls.
• Clean surfaces utilizing strategies like scratching, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-impacting, and steam-cleaning; eliminate old backdrop and free paint; fix breaks and openings in dividers; and sandpaper and apply sealer.

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Required skills: 1 year to less than 2 years
