Job Description

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team.

We are looking for someone who:

– has 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a Chinese kitchen

– has some knowledge about Cantonese cuisine and Szechuan

– is able to communicate with team members and chef

– is able to follow all sanitation procedures, excellent physical condition

Job description：

– Assist in preparing and cooking various dishes based on guest orders.

– Manage food expenses, kitchen stock, energy usage, and cooking tools.

– Create and garnish dishes as they’re ordered, following recipes and presentation guidelines.

– Handle special requests from guests.

– Keep track of inventory daily and place orders when necessary.

– Verify ingredient quality.

– Clean workstation and kitchen area after each work period.

Salary:

– $16 per hour

Work hours:

– 30-35 per week

Schedule:

– Day shift

– Holidays

– Night shift

– Weekend availability

Language:

– Basic English oral communication ability is needed.

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma or equivalent experience

Additional skills / Assets: ability to communicate in Mandarine or Cantonese is preferred
