Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities as a Labourer – food and beverage processing (NOC
95106), but not limited
● Responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products and packaging
materials manually or using mechanical equipment within the specified
production areas and warehouses.
● Prepare the essential components by cutting meat products, vegetables, and
sweets needed for later stages in dough, batters, and icing as fillings.
● Operate and maintain food processing machinery, including ovens, mixers,
grinders, dough sheeters and packaging equipment.
● Weigh and measure ingredients accurately to meet recipe requirements and
ensure consistency in the production process.
● Check and examine raw materials and finished products for basic quality defects.
● Package finished food products according to established guidelines, including
labeling and sealing
● Clean and sanitize work areas, machinery, and equipment to maintain a hygienic
and safe production environment.
● Assist machine operators and process control personnel during production
processes.
● Keep tracking of inventory and inform management when the supplies are not
enough or low.
● Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce
waste, and improve overall production and packaging processes.
