Job Description

Manitou Seed Cleaning is located at Young, 15 mins northwest of Watrous, SK. The business cleans grains for local farmers and overseas market.

Duties:

Set up, adjust, and operate seed cleaning machines
Perform corrective machine adjustments
Maintain and clean machines of the plant in a timely manner
Minor troubleshooting and repairs as required
Keep record of products being received, processed and shipped

Qualifications:

Be able to follow instructions
Be willing to learn and adapt to the operating processes
Be able to or show a mechanical adeptness
Not allergic to grain dust
Ability to lift 50 lbs
On-the-job training is provided. One-year relevant work experience is preferred but not required
Completion of secondary or equivalent education is required
Extended hours may be required during peak seasons
