Description:- At 2054559 Alberta Ltd, we are looking for a fulltime permanent Truck Driver. Must be able to work Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night,Weekend. May need to work independently.
Job Duties:
• Mountain driving expertise
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
• Professionalism in customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Report road incidents to the dispatcher
• Safely operate equipment and perform routine checks of equipment and inspection of vehicle systems
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Drive long distances to complete all types of freight deliveries and pickups;
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
