We at A&W is seeking for a Cook on permanent basis to augment our staff at Vancouver location. If you are experienced, self motivated team player with great leadership skills, come forward to join our team.
As a Cook your job description would be as follows:
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
• Oversee Kitchen Operations.
• Keep records of food, supplies and equipment and also maintain inventory.
• Keep kitchen and work area tidy.
• Determine size of food portions, calculate food requirements and costs.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for food safety, quality and quantity.
• Cook and package batches of food, such as eggs, sausages, bacon, hamburgers, chicken, fish, french fries, and Onion Rings.
• Prepare foods following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and deep-fat fryers.
• Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
Education: Completion of Secondary School

Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English.
Salary: $ 17.65 hourly for 30-40 hours/week
Experience: 1-2 years of work experience required
