Laundry Labourer

Job Posting:

Seeking highly motivated, productive, and reliable Laundry Labourer for full-time employment opportunities in a modern, efficiently run production facility located at 9750 McCarthy Road Kelowna, BC.

Job Responsibilities:

Posting involves rotation between a variety of tasks includes but is not limited to the following:
• Folding, bagging and processing clean linen
• Operating blanket and towel folders
• Hanging lab coats and scrub jackets
• Operating cart dumpers
• Sorting linen on sort line
• Feeding carts

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:

• Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent training and experience
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walking, crouching, lifting, and pushing
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds
• Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical labour
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Strong Organizational skills

Terms of Employment:

• Full-time position
• Wage range: $16.75 – $19 per hour
• Working conditions include some exposure to heat and noise.
• Our operations run seven (7) days per week – weekends as well as overtime as required
• 40 Hour work week – 5:30am-4:00pm (4x 10hr shifts) or 6:00am -4:30pm (4x 10hr shifts)
• Benefits include: Medical and Extended Benefits after 3 months. Productivity bonuses when goals are achieved
