Kolk Farms Ltd. located at SW 22-11-20-W4, and SW 3-11-20-W4, Iron Springs, AB is seeking two (2) Farm Foreman. Permanent Full time. Rural area. English-speaking workplace.

Wage: $23.00/hour
Education: Basic
Experience: 2-3 years

Duties:
Operate farm equipment including all equipment associated with cutting, spreading, lifting, and baling hay. Cut and spread hay for drying, monitor moisture content, lift, fluff, bale, and store hay. Supervise the work of the general farm workers and harvesting labourers. General administration of herd health. Supervise the work of the beef cattle herdspersons and general farm workers.
Check pens daily, check cattle for illness and injuries, pull and treat with medication where necessary, recording with computer software. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Processing/treating cattle with vaccines and other medications. Ensure water systems are operational and repair when needed. Maintain accurate cattle records, quality control/production records. Receive new cattle (tag, vaccinate, implant etc.) and assess cattle health. Move cattle when required. General farm duties as required.

Weekend work is required.
