Job Description
The Local Grill & Pub is seeking a dynamic and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at our elegant and lively motel and restaurant located in Treherne, MB, Canada. As a supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth operations at both the front desk of restaurant and liquor vendor.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, bar, cafeteria or other food or beverage service.
• Supervise employees engaged in serving food in hospital, nursing home, school, or similar institutions, and in maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment: Trains workers in performance of duties.
• Oversee Bar operation including serving beverages orders for the Bar and Rooms.
• Inspects kitchen and dining areas and kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
• Plan and schedule the shift for motel cleaners / staff including execution of daily, weekly, and monthly routine scheduled activities.
• Maintain the hygienic cleaning or Rooms, lobby, Bar and all premises area to impress customer satisfaction.
• Requisitions and inspects foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met.
• Keep records, such as amount, and cost of meals served and hours worked by employees.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Train workers, supervise and schedule assistants.
Required languages: English
Education level: University or College diploma or equivalent Certification program in Marketing, travel, Hospitality or business management
Required skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain the inventory and sales their reports and train the front-end staff. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems. Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
