Job Description
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager will assist with leading and maintaining the successful daily operations of the Front Office. As well, this position will be an important part of hotel revenue management and financial goals as laid out in the property business plan. The successful candidate must be a dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of the department
or establishment
– Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
– Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies
– Recruit and supervise staff, oversee training and set work schedules
– Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other
functions
– Resolve customer complaints.
Required languages: English
Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Required skills: Leadership skills, Excellent Communication skills with a strong sense of customer service
