Our client is a long terme care home and is looking to hire nurse aide to join his team on a permanent full-time basis. As a nurse aide, you will play a significant role in providing quality care and service to their residents. In this position, you will carry out the following duties:

• Provide care and companionship for residents.
• Administer bedside and personal care to residents such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing.
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients.
• May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse.
• May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

For a perfect match :
• Ability to work as part of a team
• 2-3 years of work experience
• College or vocational training in personal support or related health care fields
• First aid certification
• Ability to meet, and maintain health requirement standards as per Long-Term Care Legislation
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
