Basha Donair & Shawarma Kelowna is looking for four Full-Time Food Counter Attendants (NOC 65201-5)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week, $16.75 per hour to start, plus tips.
Job Description:
• Take customers’ orders
• Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as wraps, platters, hamburgers, fries, salads
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package take-out food
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars and keep records of the quantities of food used
• Receive payment for food items purchased
• Clear and clean tables and trays in eating establishments
Job Requirements:
• On the job training is provided
• Previous experience in food service is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
