Wage: $27.50 per Hour

Start date: As soon as possible

Vacation per year: 2 weeks

A full-time Home child care provider (live-out or live-in) is needed for a private home to care for three children (7 years old, 2 years old, and 7 months old).

Responsibilities

– Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
– Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
– Prepare, dress and feed children for school
– Prepare lunch for children to take to school
– Take children to and from the school bus at the assigned stop location
– Prepare infants and children for rest periods
– Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
– Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
– Warm breastmilk and change diapers for infant
– Plan, prepare and serve meals for children
– Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
– Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer
– Instruct children in personal hygiene
– Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
– Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
– Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
– Take children to and from appointments
– Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
– Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
– Help children with homework

Qualifications
– Secondary school certificate
– Childcare experience of a minimum of a year
– Demonstrate ability to perform work
