Wave Import Export Group is an import product provider based in Halifax specializing in strategic sourcing. With connections to the world’s leading suppliers for various products, focusing on outdoor building and decor materials, we can obtain indoor and outdoor products in many categories such as recreation, building materials, landscaping, lighting, planters, plants, and furniture, among others. To further advance our business, we are seeking an experienced sales supervisor to join our company.

Job Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the store and signing for deliveries.
Discuss with customers on type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase.
Advise customers on use and care of merchandise and provide advice concerning specialized products or services.
Prepare sales contracts, authorize payments, approve returns, and handle any customer requests or complaints or supply shortages.
Use computerized system to manage inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
Prepare reports detailing sales volumes and merchandising matters.
Create and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Manage store budgets and financial performance, including setting sales targets and tracking expenses.
Train new sales staff and report on performance.
