BN Dulay’s Trux Ltd is looking for five (5) Full-Time Trucking Yard Workers (NOC 75101-5) to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $21.00/hour.
Job Description:
• Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Load and unload with truck at location
• Accompany truck driver (and crew) to customers, shippers, receivers
• Sort, crate and stack goods
• Restack loads or adjust loads by hand or forklift
• Make and sort dunnage
• Store cargo and materials, and night watch when high value loads in yard
• Keep track & sort tarps, belts, load chains, binders, fluids, oils, load stakes, v boards, corner protectors, and all trucking parts.
• Install, lash and secure goods
• Assist mechanic in basic repairs – lube and grease equipment
• Clean up yard and wash trucks and trailers, along with truck interior
• Help safety officer when required
• Arrange parking for drivers coming in and leaving
• Tasks as required by management.
Job Requirements:
• Heavy lifting required 90 lbs+
• Working outdoors in cold and hot weather
• Must be able to work on 14 ft + high tarping, strapping, securing loads etc.
• Previous warehouse experience is an asset
