Responsibilities
Tasks
• Operate cash register
• Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Stock shelves and clean counter area
• Greet customers
• Accept reservations or take-out orders
• Provide customer service
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Prepare food order summaries for chef

Required languages: English

Education level: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Required skills: • Fast-paced environment • Work under pressure • Physically demanding • Attention to detail • Combination of sitting, standing, walking • Standing for extended periods
