Job Duties:

– Complete and ensure clinical care assessments, implement care/service plans
– Contribute nursing services, within the defined scope of practice, to patients based
on patient assessment and care planning procedures
– Administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects, monitor and evaluate the care plan
– Perform nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake and conduction specimen collection
– Coordinate nursing team’s resident care assignments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services to patients’ clinical care
– Respond to and manage significant changes in patients’ condition and or medical emergencies; provide emergency first aid;
– Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
– Perform teach, delegate to, and direct unregulated care providers

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of college or other approved programs for licensed practical is required.
– First Aid certification;

– Experience: Registration with a regulatory body is required. Or Completion of registration examination is required.

– Experience in this field is an asset.
