Position: Sushi Cook

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $23.00-$25.00 per hour (to be negotiable)
Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:

– Prepare and make various types of sushi, sashimi, roll sushi, salad, and combination sushi
– Prepare and make sauces for dishes on the menu
– Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
– Check food stocks and order to maintain food supplies
– Clean and inspect the kitchen area.
– Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of fishes for the menu
– Remove bones from fishes as salmon, tuna, yellowtail and etc

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school is required
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a cook OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
