TCY Transport Ltd. is a freight shipping trucking company from Winnipeg, MB. We are now hiring for 10 Transport truck drivers (NOC 73300).

Weekly Hours: 30
Compensation: $22.51 per hour
Benefit: 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of an accredited driver training course is required.
A driver’s license appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven is required.
Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.

Job Responsibilities:
– Operate and maneuver primarily straight trucks to convey goods and materials chiefly on local routes and short interurban routes.
– Operate and maneuver principally tractor-trailer, long-combination vehicle, and straight-body trucks to transfer goods and materials across extensive distances.
– Organize trip logistics and acquire necessary documentation to facilitate the transportation of goods.
– Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes, and cold storage.
– Ensure secure and proper cargo positioning in compliance with safety regulations and adhere to safety protocols for the transport of hazardous materials.
– Obtain essential permits and additional documents obligatory for international cargo transportation.
– Record cargo details, hours of service, travel distance, and fuel consumption.
– Manage bills of lading and maintain logbooks manually or digitally.
– Communicate with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and clients using communication devices and onboard computers.
