Job Description

• Help in designing landscapes, including selecting appropriate plants and arranging them aesthetically.
• Cart and spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees as directed.
• Use power mowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, and other landscape maintenance equipment to maintain lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas.
• Cut grass, rake, fertilize, and water lawns, weed gardens, prune shrubs and trees as required.
• Conduct spring and fall cleanups to prepare landscapes for the coming season, including mulching, edging, and protecting plants.
• Perform regular maintenance on landscaping tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and safe operation.
• Remove and properly dispose of or recycle yard waste and debris from landscaped areas.
• Remove snow with shovels, snow blowers, and plowing equipment. Apply de-icing materials to walkways and driveways to ensure safety.
• Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments.

Required languages: ENGLISH

Education level: NO EDUCATION REQUIRED

Required skills: • Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to seasonal changes in workload. • Ability to manage time efficiently to complete tasks within deadlines.
