Job Description

1. Cleaning the area to prepare food as per the law and company standards.
2. Preparing ingredients such as cutting vegetables, chopping meat etc.
3. Monitor the quality of ingredients before cooking.
4. Checking the stock of ingredients and place order in case of any shortage,
5. Preparing food as per the specification of customers and before the arrival of guests.
6. Adjusting food according to the demands of clients keeping in mind their allergies and diet concerns.
7. Assisting other cooks while preparing meal.
8. Garnishing order before serving.
9. Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system.
10. Storing the food properly.
11. Cleaning up the workstation at the end of shift.
12. Cooking using different appliances like oven, fryers, blender, grill etc.

Required languages: English

Education level: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Required skills: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Overtime required
