Sushi Q is looking for two Full-Time Cooks (NOC 63200-3)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $17.00 to $20.00/hour (depending on experience).
Job Description:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods – teriyaki, tempura, soups, etc.
• Prepare sushi and cook Japanese/Asian dishes and foods.
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Assist in creating or inventing new items or dishes on the menu
• Assist in training kitchen helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work area

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook
• Food Safe Level 1 or ability to obtain one
• Reliable, dependable, hardworking, self-starter, have initiative
• Able to stand and work for extended periods
• Language in the workplace is English
