Job Description

• Provide ongoing care and support to senior clients to assist with daily living activities
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure medications are taken according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor clients’ overall health and well-being, observe and report any physical or behavioral changes to family members
• Plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and health conditions
• Support mobility and ensure a safe living environment, including implementing fall-prevention and safety measures
• Encourage and assist with light physical activities such as walking and prescribed exercises
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and social well-being
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
• Laundry of clothing and household linens
• Shop for groceries and household supplies necessary for daily living

Work setting: Employer’s home
Credentials: CPR / First Aid Certificate
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50lbs)
Work hours: 35 hours per week
