• Job duties :
– Production of galvanic and hybrid galvanic anodes for corrosion protection of steel-reinforced concrete structures
– handling dry cell batteries
– Welding electrical components
– Executing quality control procedures in production
– Operate equipment to apply protective coatings
– Working with specialized grout mixes and highly alkaline additives
– Working with hazardous chemicals with the highest regard for personal safety and the safety of other team members
– Working with specialised and prototype equipment and providing feedback on performance and improvement options
• Minimum Education Requirement:
– Completion of high school
– Post secondary education an asset but not required
– Training in lean manufacturing principles an asset, but not required
• Other Qualifications:
– Min 1 year experience in galvanic and hybrid galvanic steel reinforced concrete corrosion protection anode manufacturing processes
– Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement regarding knowledge of specialised manufacturing processes
– Able to work on your feet for extended periods as part of a coordinated production cell
– Must possess a high level of manual dexterity
– Must be able to maintain high attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks for an extended period of time
– Must have basic administration skills for recording various levels production and testing data
– Must possess strong problem solving skills
