Job Description

Timber Ridge Construction is looking for seven (7) Full-Time Construction Helpers (NOC 75110-5)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $24.00/hour.
Job Description:
• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Pour and Trowel materials such as concrete
• Assist tradespersons in construction activities
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
• Work with Timber and conventional framing
• Work with Steel and red iron
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Work at heights
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Job Requirements:
• Must be physically fit to do construction labour
• Language in the workplace is English
