Job Description
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment: Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
• Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications.
• Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery, or notifies maintenance department.
• Trains workers in operation of equipment.
• Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
• Experience in Setting up & working X-rays and Metal Detector equipment.
• Experience in Sealing Machines such as Multivac & Proseal.
• Experience in MAP (Modified Atmosphere Package).
• Experience in CIFA regulation / Label for US Product.
8 Hours Shift
40 hours per week / Flexible hours, Morning, Evening , Weekend, Overtime
1 to 2 years work experience required
