Job Description:
– Position: Cook
– Employer: OHKIM EATERY LTD. dba. OHKIM SUSHI & GRILL
– Work Location: 3112 30th Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C2
– Business Address: Same as above
– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
– Wage: $20.00 per hour
– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
– Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook various types of Japanese dishes on the menu.
– Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
– Cook food according to recipes in various utensils or grillers, including deep fryer, stir fry dishes etc.
– Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers.
– Oversee kitchen operations and maintain the cleanliness of kitchen area.

Job Requirements:
– Education: Completion of high school is required.
– Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a cook OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
