37.5 Hours per Week (1.0 FTE)

Job Summary:
BBBS currently has an exciting and rewarding career opportunity for an accomplished and passionate Evaluation Specialist to join the organization. The incumbent is accountable for managing various evaluation tools and compiling data to assist BBBS with proving and improving the collective impact of its programs and services, with a specific focus on mentoring programs and service delivery.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement mixed method evaluations (formative, process, impact) for new and existing programs and services, tailored to the maturity and needs of the program.
• Collaborate with service delivery, operations, fund development and communication teams to coordinate data collection and data pulls as required for evaluation, program development and storytelling, including investigation of data quality issues (i.e., data audits).
• Conduct meaningful descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to support program monitoring and business planning. This includes utilizing a mix of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Develop knowledge translation pieces including infographics and reports to synthesize and disseminate evaluation findings.
• Design Key Performance Indicator dashboards that support monitoring of program performance and outcomes.
• Provide evaluative data and analysis to support donor applications and reports.
• Provide monthly data reports to leadership teams for increased staff data capacity
• Develop strong working relationships with teams across the organization. Involve them in the evaluation process to promote understanding, engagement, and buy-in.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in evaluation design and methodology, epidemiology, biostatistics, social sciences, applied research, or a comparable discipline with a strong focus on evaluation.
• 3-5 years’ experience in:
o Designing mixed method evaluations
o Collecting and protecting confidential client data
o Conducting descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
o Developing KPIs and performance scorecards
o Managing various databases
• Strong understanding of Program Logic Model development and implementation
• Clear understanding of survey development and design
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office, with high caliber of skills in Excel
• Knowledge and experience of using MS Dynamics CRM considered an asset
• Evidence of a cleared security clearance and vulnerable sector search

Working Conditions
