Now we, 1244195 B.C. Ltd (Alpine Holistic Health – Vernon) are hiring two Acupressure Therapists (NOC 32209) positions in Vernon, BC.

Job Description:
 Title: Acupressure Therapist
 NOC: 32209
 Vacancy: 2 positions
 Location: 3314-A 30 Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C3
 Compensation: $22/hour （annual compensation $ 40,040）
 Hours: 35 hours/week
 Benefits: 10-day paid vacations

Requirements:
 Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
 Completion of a recognized training program in acupressure or a related field..
 Relevant experience is an asset. Will train.
 Basic English communication skill is required.

Responsibilities:
 Assess clients’ health conditions and concerns through interviews and examinations.
 Identifying areas of tension, pain, or discomfort.
 Developing personalized acupressure treatment plans based on client’s needs and conditions.
 Educating clients on the principles of acupressure and its potential benefits.
 Providing advice on self-care practices and exercises to enhance the effectiveness of treatments.
 Applying pressure to specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote healing.
 Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, including health history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
 Providing advice on self-care practices and exercises to enhance the effectiveness of treatments.
 Communicating effectively with clients to ensure a comfortable and safe therapeutic environment.
 Adhering to hygiene and safety standards in the practice of acupressure.
 Keeping the treatment space clean and ensuring proper sanitation of equipment.
 Staying informed about the latest developments in acupressure and related fields.
