Job Description

A cook’s helper in Famoso plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and the delivery of high-quality dishes to customers. You should also continuously improve cooking skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine and pizza-making techniques.
–Assist the chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients for various dishes. This includes chopping vegetables, grating cheese, and slicing meats.
–Help with the actual cooking process, such as placing pizzas in the oven, monitoring cooking times, and ensuring that food is cooked to perfection.
–Assist in plating dishes, ensuring that they are presented attractively to customers.
–Be responsible for making and rolling out pizza dough. This includes stretching and forming the dough into pizza crusts.
–Help with appetizer, pasta, and sauces etc. according to the restaurant’s recipes.
–Keep track of ingredients and supplies, such as flour, sauces, and spices, as needed, notifying the chef or manager when items need to be restocked.
–Keeping the kitchen clean and organized is essential. This includes washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
–Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure a harmonious working environment. The kitchen is a team effort, and your role is integral to its success.
–Work efficiently to meet the demands of a busy restaurant, especially during peak hours, by
prioritizing tasks and maintaining a steady pace.
–Weight handling starts from 20lbs to 50lbs.
–Working hours starts from 30-40 hours per week.
