Responsibilities
Tasks:
Load, unload and transport construction materials
Mix, pour and spread materials
Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Level earth to fine grade specifications
Pave and rake asphalt
Clean and pile salvaged materials
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned and secured
Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using various tools
Use trowels, screeds, and other hand tools to finish the surface of the concrete
Apply sealants and curing compounds to protect the concrete
Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces
