Blind Bay Village Grocer is looking for two Full-Time Retail Butchers (NOC 63201-3)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $23.00/hour

Job Description:
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Remove bones from meat
• Cut poultry into parts
• Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
• Cut fish into steaks and fillets
• Grind meats
• Make special sausages
• Slice cooked meats
• Prepare special orders
• Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
• Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
• Weigh meats for sale
• Sell meats to customers
• Wrap and package prepared meats

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Butcher/Meat Cutter
• Minimum completion of high school or equivalent
• Training certificate in meat cutting or butchering is an asset
• Language in the workplace is English
