J.B. Construction Inc., located at 201040 HWY 512, Coaldale, AB (County of Lethbridge), 3 KM from Coaldale, is seeking four (4) Construction Labourers (Concrete). English-speaking workplace.

Wage: $20.00/hour – 40 hours per week.
Seasonal positions (April to November).
(Possible wage increase upon performance review after three months and periodically thereafter)
Education: High School
Experience: 1-2 years of construction experience.

Duties:
*Checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
*Filling hollows and removing high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete.
*Levelling the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications using straightedge or float.
*Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
*Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
*Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.
*Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
*Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, and other concrete structures.
*Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas.
*Pour, and spread materials such as concrete.
*Assist concrete finishers.
*Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
*Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers as directed.
*Perform other activities at construction sites as directed.

Must be punctual, motivated, and reliable. Must be physically fit and be able to lift to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to operate various power tools. Must have class 5 or international driver’s license.
